The number of confirmed cases of H1N1 pandemic flu, as of Friday 6/19/09, doubled from the week before to 21,500 and the death toll also doubled to 87 — just in the United States. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) as of Friday 6/19/09 there are 44,287 confirmed cases of swine (H1N1) flu in 93 countries and 180-deaths.
